This project stems from the constant grieving process I've been going through for years of losing my close family members one by one. For me, family is my safe space. But this safe space was being taken away from me and there is no answer to the question of 'why me?'. ​I'm coping and trying to find security again with escapism , I re-imagined this safe space with mythical creatures as my protectors because I lost mine, numbing myself and avoiding this trauma.​
